FUNdue Wine Festival at Captain’s Walk Winery

May 13, 2017 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Fundue Wine Fest

Attend the FUNdue Wine Fest at Captain’s Walk Winery in Downtown Green Bay this May!

No Ticket Necessary

If searching for admission tickets to the 10th Anniversary FUNdue Wine Fest is at the top of your priority list, then we have some good news: there’s no entrance fee! With no expensive up-front ticket, you can save that money for bottles of your favorite wine and an Uber ride.

FUNdue Wine Fest is one of the ways that we’re celebrating 10 years in business. Another, is a special release of Trés Rouge, a new red blend, which will be first available to taste at the cellar vintage tasting. Want to take part? Just purchase an empty stemless Riedel glass at the normal price of $10, and we’ll pour you five samples of special vintages in our cellar.

Want more details? Here goes…
When? Saturday afternoon, May 13, from 2–6 pm.
Where? Under the big tent behind the winery at 345 S. Adams Street.
How much? Admission is free; fondue ($7) and wine ($6 Glass/$18 Bottle) is a lá carte. Regular Tasting $1 samples. Special Cellar Vintage Tasting $10 (but you keep the Riedel glass).
What to do? Dance to classic rock by the Annie Rose Band. Sip wines and savor handmade cheese and chocolate fondues. Check out the special Vintage Tasting in our cellar. Sample wines inside of the winery. Bring friends and share some plates of yummy fondue.

You’re still reading so here’s some extra information that’s only for you. That Trés Rouge that we  mentioned, it’s a pretty special wine to us. Our staff put it together with samples from three different wine varieties, Tempranillo, Mourvedre, and Petit Verdot. What does that taste like, you ask? Glad that we put that question into your head! Here’s the short answer…

This wine is rich and supple. It greets the nose with
warm notes of licorice, clove, vanilla and cracked
pepper. Taste sumptuous flavors of ripe mulberry,
pomegranate, and plum with a finish that offers
sweet oak and suede-like tannins.

If you want the long answer, please come to FUNdue and partake in the tasting of this wine. We’re looking forward to your feedback too!

Please call us 920-431-9255 or email with your event questions.
