We received some exciting news regarding our 7 Seas Rosé. It was awarded a double gold at this year’s Experience Rosé Wine Competition.
7 Seas is truly unique as it is a blend of 7 American-grown grapes. When enjoying this fine rosé, you’ll experience oceans of flavor and vibrant aromas of fresh pair, ripe apple,
and aromatic apricot that will mingle in the natural acidity of this one-of-a-kind creation. What’s in the blend you may be wondering? Chardonnay, Marechal Foch, Traminette, Gewurztraminer, Muscat Canelli, Frontenac and Vignoles grapes. Two of which, Marechal Foch & Frontenac are from our vineyard.
“We are honored that this wine received a double gold medal (the highest award in the category) at a Rosé competition,” said PJ Koehler, Assistant Winemaker & General Manger of the winery. “A blend of 7 varieties of grapes that come from sea to sea is a unique offering, that we have always been proud of. It’s great to see it’s getting this level of recognition,” he continued.
Summer is the perfect time to relax on the patio with a glass in hand, watching the beautiful sunset, while enjoying our 7 Seas Rosé. As for food pairings, it pairs perfectly with Hors d’oeuvres, poultry, pork, ham and some seafood. For cheeses, goat cheese, mild cheeses and Chevre Frais are highly recommended.
